Hidden deep in the Himalayas, Mount Nirekha peak (6169m) is in the Mahalangur Himalayan range among the well known giants of Mount Everest 8848 meters, Mount Cho Oyu 8201 meters as well as other mountains. The climbing itself is relative Straightforward and any one in good shape with desire climbing adventure can reach to its top. Regular ice axe, climbing boots, crampons and fixed rope are necessary in this expedition. To reach Mount Nirekha peak, the route is of fly to Lukla, Phakding, Namche, dole, Gokyo & base camp, which is famous trekking route of Cho La pass. After Gokyo Lakewalk to the Cho La pass route and Chola pass of base camp is tiny trail to the north and just before the glacier, there is Nirekha peak base camp. It takes 3 to 4 hours to reach Base camp to High Camps. Fixed rope, ice screw, Jumar, main rope and Sherpa guide support is required while climbing to south –west face and there is really hard blue ice and also top ridge is long way up and there are several deep clefts but Mount Everest, Cho Oyu, Makalu, Ama Dablam & Khumbu Himal as well and can be seen Gokyo valley and Khumbu valley are visible from here.
