Introduction
Around Dhaulagiri Trek is a challenging trek in Nepal. The trek follows the trail around Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), seventh highest peak in the world. The trek involves crossing of two high passes, viz., French pass (5,240m) & the Tharpu pass (5,155m). You will also experience snow and glacier especially around Italian base camp & Dhaulagiri north base camp. Along the trek, you can much enjoy spectacular views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges, world deepest Kali Gandaki gorge and a visit to the sacred site of Muktinath along with Kagbeni and Jomsom towns.
