Ghorepani / Poon Hill Trekking is one of the easiest and most popular trekking routes in the Annapurna region. The trail takes you through beautiful Modi khola valley culminating with a hike to Poon hill, at the foothill of the Annapurna massif. Perched at an altitude of 3210m, Poon hill is a famous viewpoint to see sunrise/sunset and beautiful panorama of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail) and Mt. Dhaulagiri. Along the trek you will encounter many more peaks such as Nilgiri North, Nilgiri South, Hiunhuli, Gangapurna, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, II, III & IV, Mardi Himal and Lamjung Himal views there. You will also visit the beautiful Ghandruk and Ghorepani villages.
