Muktinath or Chumig Gyatsa is a sacred religious and pilgrimage shrine, located in Mustang district by a helicopter. Muktinath is located at an altitude of 3710m on the bank of Kali Gandai River. Visiting the temple is believed to cleanse one's sins. The shrine hosts 108 stone sprouts and an eternal flame inside the temple under the statue of Padmasambhava.
Muktinath Helicopter Tour makes for a short spiritual visit to Chumig Gyatsa or Muktinath. This is suitable who have very limited time or who can't trek to the shrine. You will hop on a helicopter at Kathmandu domestic airport and fly for 35 minutes to directly reach Muktinath temple. After worshipping the temple you will return to Kathmandu on the same helicopter.
You will also enjoy spectacular aerial views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan ranges from inside the comfort of the helicopter.
