International Tilicho Peak 7,135m. Expedition autumn 2024

Mount Tilicho peak (7135m) is little bit difficult to climb than other mountains. There are two ways to reach up to its base camp. One way is via Marshyangdi valley route and another way is via Kali Gandaki valley route. It is very hard to cross the Messokanto Pass (5300m), if the team goes through Kali Gandaki valley. Pleasing Tilicho Lake (4800m) can be seen from the top of this Messokanto pass. Few days is spent in acclimatizing at this base camp. Afar through the ridges of the mountain, Camp 1 is at 5795m which is little bit difficult to reach at.

Camp 2 (6200m approx.) is even more difficult to reach. Fixed rope should be used on the way to reach Camp 2. The elevation is about 40 Degree's slope. From Camp 2, the way directly goes to the Top of Tilicho Peak with 60 degree elevation. Avalanches may occur on these way so you must be careful moving ahead. After reaching the top, you will find slightly difficult ridge to climb.
