Mount Tukuche 6920 meters peak situated in the Dhaulagiri range is becoming one of the popular destinations for the tourists. This is a technical peak however you may need to refresh yourself at different places before you try to ascend it. Before ascending the peak, a trek from Pokhara passing Beni, Tatopani, Kalopani, Marpha, we get to the base camp of Tukuche peak. You may also take a direct flight to Jomsom (2800m.) And, trek to Marpha, Yak Kharka, and Hidden valley and reach Tukuche peak base camp. It is enough acclimatization periods for the climbing expedition team which is mentioned in the itinerary proposed by Monterosa Treks and Expedition. Tukuche (Dhaulagiri Himal - North East of Dhaulagiri) was first climbed by the Swiss Team in 1969. Up to Today, Total 38 expeditions and 19 teams had successes including 72 people submitted to this peak. Last successful Tukuche expedition was in autumn 2003 from France on North West Ridge. Base Camp 5,100m, Camp I- 5,600m, Camp II- 6,100m. North West ridge, Most of Group using only camp 1 and camp 2 and finally make the summit from camp 2 -6,100m, to step on the summit.
