Ama Dablam Expedition in Nepal is normally climbed from the South West ridge. Climbing this mountain is the most common way for beginners to learn mountaineering The Ama Dablam peak is 6812 meters high and most mountaineers begin their climb there when they begin their mountaineering journey. It's a small peak in the Everest region, 6812 meters high, and has a snowcap of 6812 meters. The South-West Ridge is considered to be the most technical and difficult way to ascend Ama Dablam in the world. On their climbing route, mountaineers have to cross difficult ice rocks and steep snow slopes., On Mount Ama Dablam 6812m, climbers pitch three high camps. Upon reaching the first camp, climbers pass through the toughest saddle ridges before climbing through the rocky ground and boulders. As we are now in Camp 1, we have to cross the rocky bowl and climb the ridge to Camp II via the fixed lines. After crossing Camp II, you can reach Camp 2 by crossing severe rocks and ridges.
The climb from Camp II consists of mostly steep alleyways made up of rock, ice, and snow. From the slope to snow ground, a steep snow and ice tunnel leads to Camp III, and from here to the summit, a steep climb up the snow and ice to the right of the huge hanging glacier. From the peak of Ama Dablam, you can see Everest 8848m, Lhotse 8516m, Island Peak, Makalu 8463m, and the Khumbu Himalayas. There are mostly steep alleyways made of rock, ice, and snow from Camp II. From the slope to snow ground, a steep snow and ice tunnel leads to Camp III, and from here to the summit, a steep climb up the snow and ice to the right of the huge hanging glacier. It is possible to see Everest 8848m, Lhotse 8516m, Island Peak, Makalu 8463m, and the Khumbu Himalayas from Ama Dablam.
The Kala Patthar offers spectacular views of the Khumbu glacier on the way to Everest base camp, 17,575 feet above sea level. You descend to Dingboche and go to Chukkung valley and Island (Imja Tse) Base Camp.
The high camp is perched on the South West Ridge and we attempt to reach the summit of 20,305 feet after spending a night there. You can observe magnificent views of the Khumbu. When you descend to the base, you can see Chukkung valley. Due to its ease of access and popularity, Island Peak attracts tourists from around the world. There is a good view of Mount Everest, Mount Makalu, Mount Lhotse (over 8,000m), and other mountains from Lukla airstrip. After arriving in Kathmandu, you fly back toward Lukla.
