The snow-capped rocky peak Mount Kailash at an elevation of 6714 meters is believed to be a place where founders of Tibetan Buddhism, Jainism and Bonpo religions meditated and resided long years ago.. Hindus and Buddhists all over the world worship this peak as the exact "Centre of the Universe" while Tibetan believe it as a savior of all the Tibetan people.
Tibet, an autonomous region of China is a popular pilgrimage destination, an epitome of beauty and a sacred home to Kailash Parvat and Manasarovar Lake. Hindus believe it as the Dwelling of Lord Shiva and his consort Parvati. For a Hindu, to make the arduous pilgrimage to Kailash and have the divine view of Shiva’s abode is to rinse off the sins and bewilderment of life. To show their devotion and faith towards the existence of their god thousands of pilgrims come to circumambulate the Kailash Parvat (Kailash Kora) from across the globe and neighboring country India following the route of Nepal.
The unique sheer wall of the mountain with the Buddhist symbol called Swastika in its southern side makes it more fascinating and mysterious. There are various religious myths associated with this Mountain with a total periphery of 53 km.
Manasarovar Lake: Derived from the Sanskrit words, the word “Manas” means mind or consciousness; and “Sarovar” means Lake. The Manasarovar Lake lies just 15 meters below Mount Kailash. It is believed to be the bathing pond of lord Shiva and goddess Parvati by the Hindu devotees. It is not so easy to circumambulate this gigantic lake. It takes 3 full days to walk around its circumference. The monks, high lamas and the devotees chanting and praying at the shore of the lake inspire the devotees to complete their rotation.
One to three rotations of the lake is believed to purge one's soul from sins and physical body from sickness and diseases. Even a single dip into the sacred water of the lake and drinking its water secure one to get a place in Heaven escaping from the cycle of birth-death and rebirth in this worldly life. Important highlights
- Kailash tour, from Hor to round / Kora Manasarovar Lake will be transfer local bus use; it is fallow local rule and regulation Darchen
- Kailash Parikrama / Kora / round will be 53 kilometer and must walk/trek from Yam Dwar to Chongdo which is 38 km; there is no any car/bus and jeep. It is possible hire pony and local porter for 3 days.
- From doctor but you should be fit for Kailash and Manasarovar tour.
- Passport valid 6 month or more Date of travel.
- There is no any Temple of Lord Shiva in Kailash region. We can see the temple of Lord Ram, Sita and Laxman called Khojarnath Temple which is 85 km far in the southern side of Lake Manasarovar.
- It is compulsory for those Yatri / tourist who want to round Manasarovar Lake, from Hor - Darchen – Yam Dwar - Darchen – Hor to use Eco vehicle blue bus which you can get from Nangri Tourism of Bureau.

- Second day morning, Rudra Abhishek, Hawan, Aarati in outside of Pashupatinath gate where Hawan place with 11 braman priests as same dress, chanting Rudrabhishek mantra. Time approximately 2 hours.
- After Rudra Abhishek, special spiritual holy Darshan inside of Pashupatinath Temple with Thali Pure Cow Milk, flower garland, Rudraccha garland (Mala) with Prasad, will do oil Lamp burning to main Shiva ling in Pashupatinath temple offering you through by priest and after offer Prasad and Mala get back to you and your family.
